Ranking Procedures

 

TThe first phase will be ranking within each group following Critera 1. The winner and 2nd place of each group will automatically go through to Division 1. 

 

3th and 4th automatically go through to Division 2.

 

Once given their ranking, teams will be placed in the appropriate place in the bracket and will play through. The bracket will be randomly assigned.

 

Bracket play will be single-elimination and therefore once a team loses, in either bracket, they are eliminated from the tournament. 

However, if you're eliminated in the Round of 16, you'll get the option to play another team lost in Round of 16.

 

Ranking within groups

 

Ranking within groups to determine the ranking within each group will be done according to the following criteria: 

 

1. Games won

2. Point Differential (PD) **

   1. PD will be capped on 150 points in each game. This means that if the PD in one game is over 150 points, only 150 points will be counted.

   2. Forfeited matches will be counted as a 150*-0 win for the team who did not forfeit.

3. Snitch Catches

4. Head-to-head

5. Coin Toss

 

 

* = indicates a snitch catch

** = Snitch catches that result into overtime will be counted into points.
