Mercenary Player Policy

 

This policy only applies if your NGB allows it.

Merc players (= mercenary players = players who are not playing for their home team) will be permitted at the tournament under the following conditions: 

 

1. The team's NGB must be willing to allow merc players under their player policy.

2. The team that is bringing on merc players must be able to field a team of 7 individuals without the merc players.

3. A team must not have more than 3 merc players.

4. The merc players must not bring the roster to more than 12 players.

5. The merc players must come from the same NGB as the original team.

 

For example, a team of 8 players from Austria could take 3 merc players, also from Austria, to bring their total roster to 11 players.
