Quidditch Europe processes personal data about you and/or your child, because you use our services and/or because you provide us information either via applying to play, refereeing, volunteering or written or electronic correspondence.

Your privacy and trust are highly important to us, so we make every effort to protect your data and treat it confidentially.

Why we need data

Quidditch Europe may possibly processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To be able to know who is playing and what team they are affiliated with

  • Registering your participation

  • Handling your referee payment

  • Sending you update emails

  • To be able to contact you if this is necessary to perform our services

  • Inform you about changes to our services and products

  • To be able to know whether you are eligible to play

How long we store data

Quidditch Europe will not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to realise the goals for which your data is collected.

All sensible data will be removed and destroyed after three years.

Sensible date can contain but is not limited to:

  • Date of birth

  • Legal name, if given a preferred name

  • E-mail address of the participating team(s)

Sharing data with others

Quidditch Europe does not sell your details to third parties and will only provide them if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you and/or to comply with legal obligations.

With companies, third parties and/or volunteers apart from the board, that process your data in our assignment, we conclude a processor agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data.

Mapping website visit

During a visit to our website, cookies can be placed on the hard disk of the visitor’s computer. This with the sole aim to better tailor the site to the needs of the visitor. Cookies are never being used to check the surfing behavior of the visitor on the other websites.
